Coren Seems To Think We, Progressives, Are ‘Sewers’ And Please Let’s Not Forget The Victims of The Senseless Tragedy in Norway and May They Never Lose Their Resolve

Jymn published the vile and despicable blogging of Michael ‘cue-ball’ head Coren, earlier today; that miserable blog where he seems to imply that those Norwegian victims seemed to deserve what happened to them.  Now, in Coren’s comment section, Coren seems to be calling those of us who dare to criticize him or anyone . . . → Read More: Coren Seems To Think We, Progressives, Are ‘Sewers’ And Please Let’s Not Forget The Victims of The Senseless Tragedy in Norway and May They Never Lose Their Resolve

Michael Coren blames Norwegian victims as “socialist children” “who showed no empathy at all for Jewish suffering”

I thought the Washington Post was grossly irresponsible for keeping up a hate column by Jennifer Rubin blaming Muslims for the Norwegian tragedy but this bit of hate speech from Michael Coren is one of the most disgusting bits of unapologetic enmity dressed up as ‘irony’ as I have ever encountered.

It is . . . → Read More: Michael Coren blames Norwegian victims as “socialist children” “who showed no empathy at all for Jewish suffering”

For News International, Looks Like What Goes Around Comes Around

Indeed. Looks like the hackers have been hacked into themselves, Monday night.  It is kinda poetic. LulzSec, a hacktivist group, who claimed responsibility for some high profile cyber attacks like having taken the CIA website off line and compromising user accounts from Sony Pictures, have hacked into News International last night.  You can read more . . . → Read More: For News International, Looks Like What Goes Around Comes Around

Rebekah Brooks to Lady Rothermere: “Who do you think you are, Mother Teresa?”

The New York Times, in concert with UK’s Guardian, has been exemplary in its journalistic diligence in digging into the scandals rippling through News Corp. In a longish piece today, the Times outlines how the organization tried to cover up its alleged crimes and dirty tricks. Why doesn’t Harper act on Canadian citizen tortured in Bahrain?

Is it because of Canada’s bilateral trade deal with Bahrain or is it that Harper doesn’t want to ‘upset an important US ally in the Persian Gulf’? Those are reasons suggested by GlobalResearch for the silence of our government over the capture and torture of Naser Al Raas, an Ottawa resident who was visited Bahrain . . . → Read More: Why doesn’t Harper act on Canadian citizen tortured in Bahrain?

Royal Pains, Brainwashing of Canada, Big Shiny Distractions Supercede Democracy–Rant Alert

Before I continue, full disclosure: like many Quebecers, I am anti-monarchy and think it’s antiquated and a waste of tax dollars. Furthermore, like Gilles Duceppe said awhile ago, they never work and they live off the backs of the tax-payers.  I have to ask, particular today’s neo-cons, who love to villify the poor, . . . → Read More: Royal Pains, Brainwashing of Canada, Big Shiny Distractions Supercede Democracy–Rant Alert

Being Oppositional, ‘Socialist’ Filibuster Drinking Games, Pandering to the Misinformed, Attempting To Debunk Some Myths

Finally, I post my thoughts about the NDP filibuster of Stevie Spiteful’s draconian Back to work legislation of  locked out Canada Post workers and the press coverage it has received, along with many Canadians’ attitude toward it.  I’m not only concerned at Canadians’  attitudes toward Bill c-6, but also all the misinformation that . . . → Read More: Being Oppositional, ‘Socialist’ Filibuster Drinking Games, Pandering to the Misinformed, Attempting To Debunk Some Myths

How Bill C-6 Can Set a Dangerous Precedent For All Working Canadians, Including Non-Unionized Workers

Assuming Stevie Spiteful stays in power, that is, and after watching both the NDP and the Liberals, this week-end, along with Stevie Spiteful’s spin machine in his media, it looks like it could well be for a very, very long time to come.  Only a very sleep deprived Lizzy May seemed to have . . . → Read More: How Bill C-6 Can Set a Dangerous Precedent For All Working Canadians, Including Non-Unionized Workers

At Least Ruth-Ellen Brosseau Knows the Difference Between a Lockout and a Strike

I’ve been following the marathon debates on forcing the locked out Canada Post workers back to work on the CBC page live feed since last night and observing the debates on Twitter.  The rookie NDP MPs have been actively participating and have, in my opinion, all been quite articulate.  Sure some of them . . . → Read More: At Least Ruth-Ellen Brosseau Knows the Difference Between a Lockout and a Strike

Does It Really Take Four Cops And Three Gunshots To Subdue a Homeless Man?

I really should’ve titled this post, Four cops turn busy Downtown intersection into the OK Corral.  They deserve nothing less. However, I may just get myself arrested or sued for that these days the way things are going. You just never know.

Yesterday morning, cops found a 40 year old homeless man, Mario Hamel, near . . . → Read More: Does It Really Take Four Cops And Three Gunshots To Subdue a Homeless Man?

Conrad Black is such a good guy: lazy, demeaning, treating fellow inmates ‘like servants’

Since his conviction for fraud and obstruction of justice, Conrad Black has portrayed himself the victim of liberal, over-zealous courts. He is really innocent and a good guy all around, according to his pals in the media. The truth about the man, however, is less than flattering and closer to reality. Here’s the . . . → Read More: Conrad Black is such a good guy: lazy, demeaning, treating fellow inmates ‘like servants’

Dizzy Miss Lizzy Now Just Part of The Establishment Woodwork, Along With Senator Porky Puffy Duffy

Various reactions to the highlights of the throne speech show in the form of  ex-senate page’s  Brigitte Depape’s protest in the middle of the floor, flashing her “Stop Harper” sign (see more details from Jymn’s post) yesterday had the usual reactions and  yielded a few surprises.
