In a light-hearted moment during a CBC interview concerning Ontario’s prostitution decriminalization trial, sex worker Terri-Jean Bedford had a bit of discipline for our PM, describing him as a ‘deadbeat dad’
“PM Harper, you’ve been a very bad, bad boy,” dominatrix Terri-Jean Bedford, as she smacked a whip on her hand, told CBC News Monday. “He’s afraid and I haven’t even touched him yet.
“You’re supposed to be the father of our country. You’re supposed to protect all our citizens, great and small. But you’re acting more like a deadbeat dad and for that, you need to be punished.”
Appropriate wording from Ms Bedford, echoing Harper’s childish take on the world (he once responded to a question of why he was so against marijuana with because it’s ‘bad’. Why? Because it’s illegal.).
UPDATE: Sister Sage has a slightly less flip view of the situation. It’s serious stuff. These workers need our protection. Since Craigslist has bowed out, they are even more vulnerable.
