Globe & Mail whines that Canadian political scandals are too boring

You want to know why our political scandals are so boring, Elizabeth Renzetti? Because the big, juicy ones are being hidden by the guilty party, the Conservatives. And you journalists are too lazy and too beholding to that party to uncover the scandals that are lying in wait for prying eyes. Scandals don’t just fall in one’s lap, Liz, like little fish such as Dechert, Guergis, Oda, Raitt, etc. The big ones require digging, risking one’s livelihood and lots of hard work. Looks like we’ll have to stick to the small fry.
