The pro and anti-hst forces are out in force. The BC Liberal government is out there defending its new tax, its supporters have hit the bloggosphere/newspapers, etc while the Anti-HST petition gatherers and protesters have made their voices perfectly clear. What’s missing however is the official position of the NDP on the HST.
They are poised to smash the BC Liberals into oblivion in the next election and no one knows what they will do about the HST? Will they keep it? Repeal it? Lower it? This is more important that you know. 80% of BC is opposed to this surprise tax, but if the NDP isn’t going to get rid of it, then why change?
C’mon, NDP – get ahead of this issue.
