Just as the UN Climate Change Conference kicking off today in Copenhagen Harper gave a speech this morning where he stated that we need to be putting economic recovery before addressing climate change. You can bet that this will be his excuse for holding up talks in Copenhagen. No wonder Canada received the first fossil award of the conference and Greenpeace staged a protest on Parliament Hill this morning.On a slightly different note I will be in Copenhagen attending the conference as delegate for IFLRY starting this Sunday until the conferences conclusion on Friday the 18th. If everything goes as planned I will be doing some live blogging from the conference, so start keeping an eye on this blog starting Sunday.
