If you’ve been paying attention lately you’ll know that the provinces have been trying to work through their differences (mostly involving pipelines). You may also be aware of the low-level animosity between the East and the West. In short, the provinces could get along better.
While it is tempting to view these disputes as a natural part of differing opinion it should be remembered that behavior is often a result of how systems are run.
