Nothing in this world disturbs or terrifies me more than closing my eyes and imagining one of my children dying in a locked car in summer. I have had nightmares about this since I read an article about a woman who was supposed to drop her child off at daycare, but forgot. It was usually her Husband’s job, and instead of driving to the daycare, her autopilot took her car right to work, where she forgot that the sleeping toddler was in the car.
