We need a safe, sustainable food supply in Canada. Free markets are not about safety or sustainability, they are about money and profit. Presumably we get some benefit as individuals through growth and jobs, whatever that means. I’m in no hurry to buy cheaper milk from outside Ontario. If there are problems in the system that can be improved and need discussion then let’s talk about that. Let’s talk about how to create a safe, sustainable agriculture system in Canada.
