a) Friday the 23rd is a Friday, the traditional day for the Harper Government to announce stuff it hopes we’ll all miss:
b) Friday the 23rd is the last Friday before Christmas, when we’re more than usually distracted and the media are more than usually fluffy;
c) Our Minister of Finance has been hinting that the $4 B. in cuts may actually be $8 B;
d) All Federal Departments have been directed to prepared “scenarios” for a minimum cut of 10%,
…which Departments and programs will disappear at around 4:00 pm?
