In the midst of all this strum, drang, gloom, and doom let us pause for just moment to applaud a terrific achievement by a Friend of the Dawg. Erin Bow (partner of James Bow) has just won the $25,000 TD Canadian Children’s Literature Award for her fantasy novel “Plain Kate”. KZ will be buying multiple copies to hand out to you all.
