I had CNN on in the kitchen today, and they decided to “cover” the #occupywallstreet story.
With a real twist.
According to the reporter (a term I use loosely, I have another description in my head)this occupation is totally unfocused. And because one of the people occupying the park is using an apple computer, somehow that negates the whole message. The woman is also wearing clothes probably made by a corporation.
I guess to be taken seriously and to have anything to say, according to corporate owned CNN, the protesters should be wearing leaves, living in Yurts, and communicating via smoke signal?
I have seen this bizarre argument before however, in the New York Times I think. A trader was totally mystified that one of the protesters was using an apple computer. I mean, he asked, do they know what that stock sells for?
