Was this the ‘significant announcement’ you deflector-wurlitzered earlier today just as the HST and BC Ferries debacles flamed up and threatened to overwhelm the newscycle this morning?

Because if it was, isn’t this something that Ms. Clark would have been told by Darth Vader weeks ago given that he has been in charge of the ward-heeling.

Furthermore, wasn’t this since that day back in March when Ms. Clark ripped the Cabinet seat from Mr. Black’s clenched fists and threw back onto the back benches with the scrubs?

How come none of the Stenos, and I’m not just talking about the finest of the fine folks from CTV here, are talking seriously about that?

Regardless all the lipstick that has been smeared on this pig, I must confess the Stenos did have me a little enthused for moment there.

In fact, I was actually half expecting a newly minted, perhaps even unelected, but entirely resurrected, ‘lawyer’ to be presented to us as the new Attorney General.
