A glimpse of Betty Park’s documentary on the Fighting Cholitas of La Paz, Bolivia. These women are much more than just pro wrestlers in traditional, colorful Aymara dress; they are also fighters against machismo and sexism. And even as their popular success turns them into breadwinners for their families, they still have to fight against the men who would like only too well either to exploit them for their own gain, or else for them to go back home…where they no longer feel they exclusively belong.
