Yes, an excellent summation of where we find ourselves today. I too have the same concerns about the NDP but I think the saving grace is the fact that, if, and that’s still a big if, they form government, they will need to rely on the Liberals to support them. The effect of that Liberal support will require the NDP to move their views further to the centre or risk certain defeat. I also think that this sudden support for the NDP, if it can be translated into seats in the House, may well lead to a merging of the parties in the two to three year period – a marriage of equals, so to speak. That is not a certainty, but, it is a real possibility.
