Newbie Member of Parliament Julian “Mallcop” Fantino was named to Cowboy Steve’s federal cabinet at Rideau Hall yesterday. The country’s newest MP is now its newest cabinet member, the minister of state for seniors.
Cowboy Steve commented that while it’s uncommon for such an inexperienced member to be chosen for a cabinet position, “Julian isn’t your ordinary newbie. His lack of experience alarms most people, but his time spent fighting the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms unreported crime will serve us well. Canada’s seniors would best be advised to watch out. He’s not intimidated by them.”
A jubilant Fantino can hardly contain his glee at the swearing-in ceremony. The newbie MP said it was the happiest moment and highlight of his entire career in Parliament.
