Christy Clark’s Thin Blue Line…

Apropo of almost nothing at all…..
Except, of course what is really going on in provincial politics (ie. is the center-right splitting or coalescing>), the (not)Premier was out in Chilliwack way over the weekend talkin’ smack that, when you actually think out it, appears to actually sound more like carbon monoxide poisoning.
The bare hyoid bone of the story can be found in the following solid pyramid lede from Robert Freeman in the CWack Progress:

The B.C. Liberal Party flexed it’s political muscle in the Chilliwack-Hope riding Saturday drawing a 250-plus crowd to acclaim Laurie Throness as party’s byelection candidate.

Premier Christy Clark kicked off the meeting with a fiery campaign-style speech calling for support of the “thin blue line” of the free-enterprise coalition to stop the New Democrats.

“The NDP is making promises they can’t pay for,” she said. “We will be honest about what we can and cannot do.”…

And that, in a nutshell, is our (not)Premier, because she’s doing nothing if not demonstrating what she can and, especially, cannot do.
Honestly, intentionally, or otherwise…

Carbon monoxide binds to hemoglobin way, way tighter than oxygen keeps things blue….Shows up most in the vermillion zone of the lips…..Especially on all those CSI shows….Clearly, there was little CarboMo in the room here….
