NDP Announces Partnership with the Jets

This Morning, Greg Selinger and Mark Chipman announced a partnership between the NDP and the Jets to create the Winnipeg Jets True North Foundation.

The programme is intended to help “at-risk” youth of High School age.

According to the Freep, the “After School Program will bring business, community organizations and professionals to teach kids in five areas: sports, science, technology, performing arts and communications”

“We have been pleased to work with Greg Selinger and his government when building the MTS Centre and again in bringing back the Jets,” said Chipman. “Our foundation is excited about our next partnership supporting kids through the After School Matters program.”

So.
