Race to the ballot is an effort to defeat amendment 1 in North Carolina this May 8. The ballot wants to make marriage between a man and a woman the only option in North Carolina. It will not only prevent same-sex marriage or marriage equality, it will eliminate protection for unmarried couples as well.
