How much is the press reporting when it comes to the protests that are sweeping the globe?
They covered Egypt, they covered Iran. Syria. Libya. Tunisia.
But they are people who are protesting Islamic regimes and full out dictators. They started out as protests for social justice, and ended up as revolution.
See, in the world of "democracy", that is something to broadcast. Cheer them on!
But when one looks at the rest of the world, there is also trouble brewing in other "democracies".
That, is something we cannot talk about. Because it threatens the chokehold of the corporate global movement towards privatization and ruination of human rights.
That Austerity gig that is so popular with the rich folks.
Uprisings must be isolated, so they do not spread through the sharing of ideas and legitimization of protest. Hard with that Internet thing one would suppose……
