Maryanne Kampouris is leading a very interesting discussion and debate about Liberal’s favorite topic: Policy. In this particular case we are getting meta about – we’re discussing the process of creating policy in the party.
The main point is that we can’t just develop our policy in the back rooms with the four or five active members in ridings across the country. Policy is an outreach tool, and if we aren’t soliciting input from the voters in our riding on policy development, and then using passed policy as an outreach tool to further engage voters.
