I never liked it when it was said federally about the CPC, and I don’t like it being said about the BC Liberals. Counting non-voters into statistics to claim the lack of a mandate is just plain wrong headed.
Those that don’t vote have abdicated their responsibility for choosing government to those that do vote. Mandates come from those that vote. You don’t get to say that a government doesn’t have a mandate because of non-voters. It makes absolutely no sense.
We need to do something about voter apathy in this country. We need to do more to encourage (Read more…)
