He’s a prominent politician in his country. He’s fiercely loyal to the ethnic majority: the others, he says, should make a pledge of loyalty to that majority. The state itself is to be defined solely by the majority ethnicity. Minority birthrates cause him considerable concern. Any terrorism by Muslim citizens, he says, should be met with uncompromising force against the minority population as a whole. Disputed territory should be settled by the ex-military and their families.
