This is most uncivil! Here is a pretty sick in a twistedly offensive kind of way video game. The game pits you vs. some uncomfortably realistic Tea Party members, including the following colourfully descriptive zombies:
- Generic pissed off old white guy zombie
- Pissed off stupid white trash redneck birther zombie
- Factory made blonde Fox News Barbie who has never had a problem in her life zombie
- Expresses racist views anonymously on the internet modern Klan zombie
- The ‘we tricked the god people into believing in tax cuts for the rich’ executive zombie
- Sarah Palin zombie
- Michele Bachmann zombie
- Fox News zombies (Mike Huckabee, Newt Gingrich, Rick Santorum, Brit Hme, Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity)
- Glenn Beck zombie (back from the dead)
- Koch Industries ‘Koch Whore’ lobbyist pig zombie
And so on. You get the picture. Despite the violence inherent in the game, the caricatures of the zombies are very realistic and often funny (as Glenn Beck shows). Sure it’s deplorable but look at this way: the computer plays the zombie against you and if you’re like me and terrible at video games, well you’re the one that gets gouged by the Tea Party zombies.
Needless to say, the right is in an uproar and I must admit this time they have a point. It is offensive and violence like this should never be promoted by anyone. Now let me get back to playing.
Don’t expect this to be on-line for very long. The outrage is about to hit the fan.
