The day after he was returned to his family by an abductor, three-year old Kienan Hebert (right) plays with his siblings as though nothing had happened.
I believe I heard a collective sigh of relief from the entire country when the news of his return broke. I can’t begin to imagine how his parents felt after the kidnapping—or when the phone call came yesterday to let them know he was safe and sound.
I don’t believe in miracles, but this rare happy ending comes pretty close to one.
