Well, not Bush personally. He’s too busy sitting back in his La-Z-boy or clearing brush from his porch. But Karl Rove, Bruce Bartlett et al. are waging a battle royale against pipsqueak Rick Perry, a fellow Texan for whom the Bushies hold great animus. From what I can gather, the Bush people think Rick Perry makes Dubya look like a genius. That’s saying something. Then there’s Bush butt boy Rove’s war against Perry, saying Perry is ‘not presidential’. For his part, Perry is keeping quiet. Good idea, Rick. Every time you open your mouth you do your state, your party and your religion no good. But I’m waging he won’t be silent long. Good thing, too.
