Heather Mallick has a rather funny piece in The Star on Giorgio Mammoliti’s creepy video taping of lesbians during this past Saturday’s Dyke March. Mallick thinks Mr. M is just another ‘snitch’. One of the commenters called it ‘small man’s syndrome’. I think they’re both right. Either way, I couldn’t have said it better.
“See that man standing there, at 5 o’clock? Chunky guy, dark glasses, tight T-shirt, staring into his video camera? Over there on the sidewalk? DON’T LOOK! HE’LL SEE YOU! Just casually glance over there. Okay, see him now?”“
“Yeah. He’s filming the lesbians. It’s Saturday. It’s Dyke Parade.”
“Why would a middle-aged man be filming lesbians?”
“Must be an undercover cop.”
“I think they have female cops for that now, nerdlinger. Anyway, he doesn’t have cop neck musculature. Peeping Tom, definitely. I saw an old guy like that at SlutWalk.”
“We should call the cops.”
