Quebecor And RLQ’s Chou-Chou, Eric Duhaime Has Hit a New Low–Enough With The Canadian Arrogant Complacency!

Yes, that would be the same Eric Duhaime, the one who begged the feds, not once, but twice, to somehow intervene in the construction scandal woes in la Belle province, a problem that dates decades that needs systemic changes that not even the feds can touch.  That same scandal that ol’ Chrissie Paradis . . . → Read More: Quebecor And RLQ’s Chou-Chou, Eric Duhaime Has Hit a New Low–Enough With The Canadian Arrogant Complacency!

Believe it or not, I’m not talking about Mayor Boss Hogg and sidekick Donut Dougy.  No, I’m talking about Mayor Gregor Robertson of Vancouver. You see, boys ‘n’ girls, Mayor Robertson is starting to feel a little antsy these days, wondering when or how to end Occupy Vancouver.

Robertson said the city wants . . . → Read More: Sorry if The Occupy Movement Puts a Kink In Your Plans, Mr. Mayor

The right’s furious, desperate attempts to discredit the Occupy movement with charges of anti-Semitism

Yesterday while I was following the #OccupyVancouver twitter feed, I noticed something strange happening. The hashtag was hijacked by unrelated, idiotic counter arguments to Occupy (not necessarily those belonging to Occupy Vancouver) signs showing up in photographs published on the internet and in the media.

The names of the tweeters and retweeters were . . . → Read More: The right’s furious, desperate attempts to discredit the Occupy movement with charges of anti-Semitism

So it goes in OWS land. Not long after hearing that the Canadian company responsible for kicking out the protesters from Zuccotti Park had backed down, police resumed their indiscriminate head bashing of wayward protest members. At one point a motorcycle cop ran over a pedestrian.

Interesting to note how the media has . . . → Read More: Canadian firm postpones kicking Occupy Wall Street out of park. Police beat jubilant protesters.

Timmy Hudak Sinks To Another All Time Low And Goes All Chuckles McVety

Yes, Boys ‘n’ girls, he really has. He’s gotten really disgusting!  First, he’s been distributing this hideous and grossly misleading pamphlet, seen below,  while campaigning in Brampton earlier this evening.

Occupy Wall Street going mainstream?

Occupy Wall Street protests have garnered very little media attention, especially the television kind. Yes, there’s been the usual ’dirty fucking hippies’ smirking from the New York Times and the like, but nothing substantial. Most Americans, except those who work or live near Wall Street, have taken little notice. That’s about to change.

And Now, Let the Leadership Race Games Begin…But Before That, Let’s View The Quebec Challenge

Speculation regarding Jack Layton’s successor had already begun within days following his death.  Personally, I thought it was in poor taste. Kind of predatorial, really.  I mean, couldn’t we bury Jack first before getting to this new business?  Anyway, it’s all now in full swing as of today and as Jean Lapierre mentioned . . . → Read More: And Now, Let the Leadership Race Games Begin…But Before That, Let’s View The Quebec Challenge

Jack Layton’s Funeral, Learning About Jack, The Family Man. A Few Words To Critics,

Jack Layton’s state funeral service couldn’t have been more fitting.  Different kinds of music being played, from classical to Quebecois from Martin Deschamps to pop to a gospel rendition of a 60′s Youngbloods’ classic by Julie Michel. The musical selections also represented something Jack Layton strived toward, besides social democracy;  diversity.  In fact, not . . . → Read More: Jack Layton’s Funeral, Learning About Jack, The Family Man.
