Mallory was at her friend F’s birthday party today. F’s parents held the party at the kiddie part of Altitude Gym called Clip ‘n’ Climb. It was brilliant. There’s kids. There’s climbing walls galore. There’s these automatic belay things that let you down.

Mallory and her friend C’s grand finale from their late afternoon play date was a fashion show. Complete with runway, lighting, music and intro from Irene.

Well, okay, not really. But she was over at her friend C’s (movie and pizza night) til 8:30. Waaay past her bedtime.

Before dinner. From the heap of snow built up at the end of the driveway. It was all that Irene and I could do to convince her to come in for pizza. Pizza for crying out loud. That’s how much fun they were having.

Today was skiing, playing in the snow, playing crafts and generally playing. Irene coached Mallory brilliantly out at Nakkertok, showing her how to herringbone up hills and snow plough down hills.
