After some persistent inquiries, it was announced over the Ontario Liberal Party’s twitter account (@OntLiberal) that they would be accrediting bloggers for the Leadership Convention – which is from Jan 25- 27. We’ve not had much else in the line of details (what is the process of applying, will bloggers/social media/new media have their own area to observe/blog from, who do we pick up accreditation from, will there be Wi-Fi, etc), so keep your eyes open here for additional news, or monitor the OLP’s twitter account and/or press releases for additional info from them, or feel free to send questions in to the Twitter account and see if they’ll respond. They’re likely very busy though, so don’t be surprised if they don’t give a direct reply immediately.
