Detroit was a hotbed of searing rock & roll in the late 60’s, spawning generations of rockers to this day loyal to the balls-to-the-wall music pioneered by the likes of the Stooges and the MC5. The latter band never gathered the fame or fortune that eventually found the Iggy Pop and the Stooges. But their influence lives on.
