Media culpa: Margaret Wente, Math and Christianity: More factual/attribution errors?:
What’s that? Wente being sloppy with numbers? Wente being shoddy and haphazard with attributions? I’m shocked. Shocked.
Maybe we should chill out a little, though. It’s not as if she’s writing about anything incendiary, like white people and brown people, or Christians and Muslims, or anything.
One really has to wonder what purpose the Globe thinks it’s serving by running Wente’s copy. It’s certainly not serving the cause of accuracy or intelligent conversation.
