Whatever they pay her is not enough.
Jane Taber has made quite a reputation for herself as a hagiographer for women – Conservative women, that is. Today, Taber doubles down on Lisa Raitt whilst adding Rona Ambrose to the mix.
It’s not so much that Taber and the Globe love to exalt Conservatives but it is that Taber does so with such florid prose and an unflinching regard for nuance and temperance. Taber’s articles read more like Conservative press releases than professional journalism.
Then there’s this. I’m going to quote myself if you will from a previous post:
“But Jane, there are female Liberals, too. And Dippers. And Greens. Just thought you’d like to know.”
