On Friday August 12,2011, While on a state visit to Honduras,the first by any leader since the coup, Prime Minister Stephen Harper announced the signing of a free trade deal with the Lobos government. In announcing this agreement Harper contended that while Honduras had some issues ,free trade would solve them bringing democracy freedom and prosperity to Honduras. Of course he didn’t say who would accrue those benefits
