Heather Wilson, the NDP’s director of fundraising and membership, said that advertisements and sponsorships at “fair market value” are allowed by law.”

Elections Canada’s interpretation of “sponsorship” and “fair market value” may have serious implications after Harper’s planned phase out of public subsidies.
