With Conservatives lording over the great majority of our national media, it’s laughable that the party is about to wage another war – this one on the media. But who are they going to attack? The Star is a local paper and the CBC is just lame.
So that leaves the Post, Sun and Globe. Foot soldiers for Harper all the way. I guess it will come down to whacking Jonathan Kay for not lathering enough about the wonders of Harper. Or a beatdown on Christie Blatchford for not using enough flowery adjectives when describing the Con agenda.
To a Con, 99% domination is not domination at all. Any sliver of deviance from the message and the war to them is lost. That’s whey they must keep fighting, even when it’s windmills made of paper.
