A follow-up to the on-going fracas over Mulcair questions

Impolitical weighs in. She criticises the pigeon-holing of Mulcairs words regarding the photos. Hopefully, her opinion helps to dull the more partisan Liberal Party commentators’ attacks on what Mulcair had said, and helps to spur on the more important debate on what Glenn Greenwald is calling The Osama bin Laden exception.

My opinion is firm; if bin Laden was captured, as is now being reported, then he should’ve faced trial. Once you make an exception for a good reason, you’re liable to begin making exceptions for bad reasons.

Also, the US military has through this incident invested in itself the power to execute whomever it deems necessary.
