The free market (wip)

The free market can give rise to the dead. The free market can walk on water. The free market can walk on wine which was formerly water.
I’ve been thinking about what is this free market libertarians espouse? I can’t fathom it, because my thinking must be flawed.
My belief is anything man-made cannot be self-fulfilling, whether laws or machines. The market is no different. It needs constant attention in order to work to every man’s advantage. Without attention, greed enters the market such as rust entering a machine or corruption enters a courtroom.
Survival of the ‘fittest’, as libertarians explain is terribly flawed. It doesn’t exist anywhere in nature, and neither in anything man-made. Nature shows it’s the most adaptable that prosper whereas the ‘strongest’ throw entire cycles into chaos.
