On Saturday evening I had a chance get out and see Bob Rae and Esquimalt Juan de Fuca Liberal candidate Lillian Szpak at her new election campaign office on 754-A Goldstream Ave. My partner from AM Fresh filmed this video and took pictures of the evening. It was an opportunity for constituents to meet Lillian, learn more about the EJDF campaign, and hear Bob Rae speak on the campaign’s progress. Liberal Saanich Gulf Islands candidate Renee Hetherington and retiring MP Keith Martin, celebrating a birthday, were there as well. There was lots of birthday cake and nibbles for attendees.
I have been spending much of my free time on Christopher Causton’s campaign so it was good to get out and see what is happening in other key Liberal ridings on the island. Lillian’s campaign like all the Vancouver Island Federal Liberal campaigns, are always looking for volunteers, so please contact the office if you can take a sign or spare some time to help out. Finally there is an exciting rumor that Michael Ignatieff will be in Victoria next Sunday evening April 17th at Crystal Gardens. AM Fresh plans to be there to bring you video and pictures of the event.
