It’s exciting. It’s an election! The government has fallen, and it’s now our chance to kick the bums out of office.
I’ll definitely volunteer my time to help the NDP in my riding, which is now the Shuswap (sorry, Thompson), as I’ve been living here the past two years.
I’m feeling quite strong, now, which is a relief. Before, when the elections rolled around, I was too out of sorts to meaningfully participate. I hope we can push out the current MP in our riding, Colin Mayes, and vote in someone who actually cares about the consequences of humankind’s actions on the land.
