I wrote a letter to my MP (Conservative Tim Uppal) today after receiving a ten-percenter reminding me to take advantage of the home renovation tax credit.
Here it is:
Dear Mr. Uppal,
I received a notice from your office today reminding me to take advantage of the Home Renovation Tax Credit. I also learned today that Mr. Harper is seeking to prorogue parliament until March.
Since it appears that you will not be working until March I am hoping that you will be able to find the time to assist some of your constituents with renovations to their homes. Feel to contact me and let me know when you will be available to assist me.
